Bible Study |
Worship Services |
Our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Bible studies offer classes for several age groups, ranging from cradle roll to adults. These classes are not segregated by gender. While we understand that the covenant we live under is specified in the New Testament, we believe the entire Bible is God’s Word and that there is much we can learn from the Old Testament as well. Therefore our studies include topics from both the Old Testament and New Testament. Additionally, a ladies’ Bible study led by our preacher is conducted on Thursday mornings (October through March). If you have a desire for a personal Bible study, please contact us so we can make arrangements. |
We strive to conduct our worship assemblies in a manner consistent with the direction we find recorded in the Bible and evidenced by the early church as it was led by those who were lead by the Holy Spirit. Our worship assemblies include the elements of:
Prayer – that we may express the issues that are on our heart, Scripture reading – that we may focus on a portion of God’s Word that is typically related to the lesson of the hour, Singing of hymns – that we may praise God and encourage one another – we do not use mechanical instruments in our worship, Preaching – lessons taught from God’s Word so that we can grow in our understanding of it Each Sunday morning (the first day of the week) we observe The Lord’s Supper, and it is made available Sunday evening to those who did not have an opportunity to partake Sunday morning. Though not part of the worship, we also provide the opportunity each week to contribute to the work of the church. |
